Tacos De Fátima

Overview

If you're craving authentic Mexican flavors that transport you straight to the heart of Sonora, look no further than Tacos De Fátima. Located in C. Tamaulipas 677, Norte, Urb. No. 5, 85110 Cdad. Obregón, Son., Mexico, this local gem offers an unforgettable dining experience. Whether you're a lifelong taco lover or someone eager to explore Mexican street food, this spot has something to offer for everyone.

From the moment you walk in, you can feel the vibrant, welcoming atmosphere. The small, family-run establishment exudes a warmth that matches the delicious aromas wafting from the kitchen. The menu at Tacos De Fátima is refreshingly simple yet deeply satisfying, focusing on high-quality ingredients that bring out the best of traditional Mexican cooking. Here, tacos are not just food-they’re an art form.

The taco fillings are made fresh daily, and whether you’re in the mood for classic carne asada, juicy al pastor, or something more adventurous like cabeza or tripas, Tacos De Fátima has got you covered. The meat is cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful, paired with fresh cilantro, onions, and salsas that add the right amount of heat and complexity to each bite. The tortillas are soft and warm, just the way they should be, acting as the perfect vessel to hold all the rich, flavorful fillings.

One standout on the menu is the al pastor taco. The pork is marinated and grilled on a vertical spit, giving it a unique smoky flavor that’s balanced by the sweetness of pineapple. The al pastor at Tacos De Fátima is a local favorite, and for a good reason-it’s perfectly crispy on the outside while staying tender and juicy on the inside. Paired with a splash of lime and salsa, each taco bursts with flavor.

For those looking to try something a little different, the cabeza (beef head) and tripas (tripe) tacos are also highly recommended. These cuts may be less familiar to some, but they’re beloved by locals for their tender texture and rich taste. The tripas are crispy and flavorful, while the cabeza offers a melt-in-your-mouth tenderness that’s hard to beat.

While the tacos are undoubtedly the star of the show, the sides at Tacos De Fátima are equally impressive. The fresh guacamole and salsa verde are made in-house, providing the perfect accompaniment to your tacos. And let’s not forget the aguas frescas-refreshing, naturally sweet beverages that come in flavors like tamarind and hibiscus, providing a great balance to the richness of the food.

One of the things that really sets Tacos De Fátima apart is its commitment to quality. The ingredients are sourced locally, and the preparation is done with care and attention to detail. You won’t find anything frozen or pre-packaged here-the meats are cooked fresh, and the salsas are blended daily. This level of dedication to authentic flavors and fresh ingredients ensures that every bite is bursting with genuine Mexican taste.

Customer reviews consistently praise the friendly service and the value for money. Many describe the experience as intimate and homey, as if you’re dining with family. Whether you're picking up a quick snack or sitting down to enjoy a leisurely meal, you’ll be treated like one of the regulars. Good tacos. Quick service but most times really busy at peak hours. But after 11 or before 8 it is a pleasure to eat here. Very clean place and easy street parking with a short walk.

It's an outdoor setup with great tacos and horshatas at a great price.
